Are you sure its based on RetroPie 2.3?Īctually it is the exact same version.
I have never tried the BerryBoot version. So you don't even have the binaries to run the emulators?ĭo you have /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg? regardless though i manually edited the retroarch.cfg and it still isn't being picked up at all. Killj0y wrote:Right i just read that but that directory and file are completely missing. Or does one of you guys have a good berryboot image for 2.3 with all this stuff there?
I would hate to have to get a different image to work with and start over. I used an image of retropie conveted to squashfs for berryboot so I assumed it would all be there but it seems something is a miss. so no way to bring up any menus.Īlso, this directory /opt/retropie/emulators/RetroArch/installdir/bin/ is missing altogether.
Any idea if that makes a diff? Mine defaulted to that in 1.9 maybe I could try removing the quotation marks?Īlso, F1 or tab does nothing in game. I just saw that someone else had a similar issue but because they had quotes around their button config.
#RETROLINK NES CONTROLLER RETROARCH.CFG HOW TO#
I am working with the only retroarch.cfg file i can find in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg so what am I missing.Īs a bonus can anyone tell me how to change the way emulators exit because when they do they take a bit longer than in 1.9 and going from 720p in game to 1080 in ES throws the screen off and causes it to cut off around the edge.Īny help at all would be immensely appreciated as I’ve looked around and am at a loss as to what to do next. Its recognized and works in ES just not in emulators. The issue is no matter what I do the controller will not respond within the emulators. I didn’t mind since i still had my files from 1.9 so I just imported the settings from that. The only thing missing is there doesn’t seem to be any joyconfig that i can find. Well I got everything up and running including my Xbox controllers.
#RETROLINK NES CONTROLLER RETROARCH.CFG PS4#
#8bitdo SFC30 for super nes, PS4 controllers for PSX and arcade game, etc.Īnd to find the proper configuration for my controllers, I first let recalbox set the defaults config, opened the retroarchcustom.cfg generated and checked the proper buttons number.Ok guys I’m familiar with RetroPie and had a complete working setup for 1.9 and decided it was time to upgrade. #here I define everything related to my controllers and so on like that I can use specific controllers for each console cfg file corresponding and replacing the recalbox generated retroarchcustom.cfg For example: #include "/recalbox/configs/retroarch/retroarchcustom_snes_PM.cfg"Īnd at the bottom of each of thoses. cfg files, I associated specific overlays and viewports for each console like this for example # Vertical Monitor resolution Gb.configfile=nfigfile=/opt/recalbox/configs/gb/retroarch.cfgĪnd inside each of those. nfigfile=/opt/recalbox/configs/snes/retroarch.cfg Thanks in You can, I created one retroarch.cfg associated with each console and referenced it in nf like this: #nf I suppose the Bind player 1 option is located inside this file ? #include "/recalbox/configs/retroarch/retroarchcustom_PM.cfg"Ĭould you just tell me where is the default retroarch.cfg that recalbox is using (just to be sure) ? I will #include it instead of my custom that I created with the input_player things that I showed on my previous post. # Smoth the emulated image, not the overlay, If you set it to false, it will remain sharp but blocky. Input_overlay = /opt/recalbox/emulators/retroarch/overlays/16-9/Scanlines_4x_1080p_Borderless.cfg # The first Y pixel of the emulator image # The first X pixel of the emulator image Input_remapping_directory = /opt/recalbox/configs/snes/ In fact I'm using a custom retroarchconfig for setting overlays for differents emulators (for example # Settings made here will only override settings in the global retroarch.cfg if placed above the #include line Yeah, U seem to have a lot of requests ! :s Input_player3_right_axis_label = "D-Pad Right" Input_player3_left_axis_label = "D-Pad Left" Input_player3_down_axis_label = "D-Pad Down" Input_player2_right_axis_label = "D-Pad Right" Input_player2_left_axis_label = "D-Pad Left" Input_player2_down_axis_label = "D-Pad Down" I was using the same syntax with just different numbers for my 8bitdo.īefore I was using this for example for my P2,P3,P4 with 8bitdo pads: #Player 2 Settings Input_player1_right_axis_label = "D-Pad Right" Input_player1_left_axis_label = "D-Pad Left" Input_player1_down_axis_label = "D-Pad Down" Here is my config: input_joypad_driver = sdl2 Before I was using 8bitdo SFC30 pads and it was working flawlessly Only the joystick is working and I don't get why. Hy, i got a problem with my custom retroarch config with PS4 controllers.
